	Sunrise on the River Ganges During each book club tour, participants seek out experiences inspired by the books they have read, and a morning visit to the sacred river Ganges was one such wonder filled moment. 	Every new edition of Books Abroad is inspired by a great read and in the case of our upcoming Reading Kenya, that great read is Binyavanga Wainaina's memoir, One Day I Will Write About This Place. In it, Wainaina comes of age in a nation that has undergone a breathtaking transformation since independence. His own transformation, from timid boy bibliophile to award winning writer allows Wainaina to stand at a distance or to jump right in. With vibrant colour and vivid sound the author paints a place and time that readers will find hard to resist.
